inFIT (Albertville)

This fall inFIT is celebrating its 10-year anniversary of family fitness in Albertville, and they invited me to try out some of their group fitness classes and share my experience with you!

Even though I’d never set foot inside inFIT, I was excited to give them a try because I’ve heard good things about their classes and they are so active in the STMA community. Plus, I am an at-home mom to young kids, and the fact that they offer affordable on-site child care is huge! (More about that below)

Studio Tour of Rogers School of Music

This is a sponsored post. Please see disclosure below.

It’s back-to-school time! And back to school doesn’t just mean a return to classes—it’s also a great time to jump in on activities such as sports and music lessons.

My family got to tour the newly renovated Rogers School of Music, and it is such a fun place to introduce your kids to the love of music! The whole studio celebrates the art of music making and invites each student to find his or her place in the musical world.

Wednesday is Family Night at Villa Bar & Grill

If your family is looking for a relaxing mid-week dinner out at a reasonable price, be sure to check out Villa Bar & Grill in Albertville.

The Villa (formerly Emma Krumbee’s) is located just off I-94 and serves up an extensive menu of homestyle, made-from-scratch American food in a comfortable and family-friendly environment.

Every Wednesday night is “Family Night” at the Villa, when kids 10 & under eat FREE with a paid adult entree. And, on the last Wednesday of the month, your family can enjoy table-side magic with Kyle the Magic Guy between 5 and 7pm. Edit: Kids now eat free Monday–Wednesday, and Kyle the Magic Guy visits The Villa on Tuesdays.

Brown Family Farm (Big Lake)

At the grocery store today my daughter and I were talking about why we buy our fruits and veggies “in season” when I realized that we’re now just a few weeks away from receiving our first box full of locally grown, seasonal produce from Brown Family Farm!

Earlier this spring I shared with you the 3 things I love most about being a CSA member at Brown Family FarmClick to read >>
