Power of Produce

FYCC's free "Power of Produce" program is open to kids ages 2–17. Each week that they visit the Albertville Farmer's Market, kids will receive a free fruit or vegetable of their choice that was provided by farmers from the market. The P.O.P. program runs every Thursday, from July 6 through August 24, from 3 to 6:30 pm. Parent or guardian permission/signature required at signup.

Penny Carnival

Kids, bring your pennies to Albertville Central Park for the FYCC Penny Carnival! Local businesses and organizations will be hosting booths where kids can spend a penny to play a game and win a prize. This event is free, but box lunches are available for $7 and include a Jersey Mike's sandwich, chips, cookie, and bottled water. Register online at myfycc.com. In the case of rain, this event will be held indoors at Albertville City Hall.

Touch a Truck

FYCC and the Friends of the Library are bringing back the ever-popular "Touch a Truck" event at St. Michael Library! All ages are welcome to enjoy a truck-themed story and craft at the library from 9:30 to 10. Then, take your kids out to the parking lot from 10 to 11 to see, touch, and climb inside their favorite vehicles.

Join the Hanover Historical Society for its 5th Annual Ice Cream Social & Open House. There will be free activities for kids including a bounce house and balloon artist. Sloppy Joes, hot dogs, and dessert provided as well as, of course, ice cream!
