Join Otsego Parks & Recreation for a FREE color run for all ages! Runners will be divided in different ages groups (3-5, 6-8, 9-11, and 12+) with staggered start times. New this year, there will be more obstacles to get through as well as both color powder and color slime. It's the ultimate challenge! Bring your family to enjoy lifeguard-supervised recreational swimming at STMA Middle School East. You can choose either to pay per visit or purchase a season pass. No registration required; pay on site at the pool. Children 7 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult in the water. FYCC's free "Power of Produce" program is open to kids ages 2–17. Each week that they visit the Albertville Farmer's Market, kids will receive a free fruit or vegetable of their choice that was provided by farmers from the market. The P.O.P. program runs every Thursday, from July 6 through August 24, from 3 to 6:30 pm. Parent or guardian permission/signature required at signup.
Share books, songs, and rhymes with your children at this storytime designed to promote school readiness in 0-5 year olds. Librarians, caregivers and children will sing, talk, read, write and play together to build early literacy skills. Siblings are also welcome!
Take a ride on the wild side at Monticello's "Movies in the Park" event. Invite your friends to join you at Pioneer Park for a free showing of the movie Wonder Park. The movie will begin at dusk. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and some snacks, and don't forget the bug spray! Concessions are available for purchase from Riverside Students.
