Penny Carnival

Kids, bring your pennies to Albertville Central Park for the FYCC Penny Carnival! Local businesses and organizations will be hosting booths where kids can spend a penny to play a game and win a prize. This event is free, but box lunches are available for $7 and include a Jersey Mike's sandwich, chips, cookie, and bottled water. Register online at myfycc.com. In the case of rain, this event will be held indoors at Albertville City Hall.

All ages are welcome to enjoy a truck-themed story and craft at the library from 9:30 to 10. Then, take your kids out to the parking lot from 10 to 11 to see, touch, and climb inside their favorite vehicles.

The Wright County Fair in Howard Lake has been providing entertainment, education and competition since 1870. Come for the fair food, stay for the rides, the demolition derby, or the live entertainment. Join the Hanover Historical Society for its 5th Annual Ice Cream Social & Open House. There will be free activities for kids including a bounce house and balloon artist. Sloppy Joes, hot dogs, and dessert provided as well as, of course, ice cream! Free will offering accepted; all proceeds go towards preserving the History Center and exhibits for future generations to enjoy. (Event held rain or shine)
