Stop by Great River Regional Library to sign up for the annual Summer Reading Program, which runs June 6 – August 6. The program is open to all kids ages 0-18 and is divided by age: pre-readers, kids, and teens. Participants can track their reading either using paper logs or in the Beanstack app and will be eligible for prize drawings at the end of the program.
Celebrate the Summer Reading Program with a show featuring live reptiles! Jim Gerholdt will bring artifacts like shells, skulls, and skins for you to check out along with live turtles, lizards, and snakes. Afterward the St. Michael Royalty will be passing out treats and signing kids up for the reading program.

Walk & Roll is back with a new route on Walnut to showcase downtown Monticello. Attendees will be walking and rolling starting at the Monticello Community Center and travelling along Walnut Street down to West Bridge Park. The event will feature vendors and giveaways.
