Make sweet memories while she's still your little girl! This beloved annual FYCC event features a dance, photos, treats, raffle, princesses and more. Explore the world of STEM through the eyes of a preschooler. The early childhood years are critical for social emotional learning, fine motor development, and executive functioning. There will be make and take activities, ideas from your own kitchen, and exploratory toys and manipulatives throughout the building. STEM can be found everywhere - we will show you where to look! Celebrate Valentine's Day with your family outdoors at Eastman Nature Center! Visit Valentine’s-themed stations along a trail with your family. Search for heart clues, follow a story trail and more to earn a Valentine’s craft kit. Enjoy a short visit at a bonfire with a sweet treat. Program will last approximately one hour. Please register for a trail start time two days prior to the event. Everyone attending this program must register and pay. (Cost: $5/person) Participants ages 11 years and younger must be accompanied by a registered adult.

Families with children under 10 years old can enjoy Family Night at the STMA all-purpose facility. Half of the indoor field will be available for families to play games, throw balls, jump and run! This is a great way to experience the facilities at STMA and meet new friends. Children must be accompanied by an adult over 18. It's time to light up the night! The MonticellGLOW parade will take place in Downtown Monticello starting at the Monticello Community Center. All are invited to make glow art to wear or carry. Visit the sugarbush with an Eastman Nature Center naturalist and explore the world of a maple tree in the spring. Learn how to tap a maple tree, experience the art of sugaring, and discover how sap is turned into syrup. Taste both maple sugar and maple syrup to celebrate the changing season! This program is entirely outdoors. Reservations required by 24 hours prior, several 75-minute time slots available. Everyone attending this program must register and pay. Participants ages 11 years and younger must be accompanied by a registered adult.
