North Ballet presents The Nutcracker Ballet on stage at St. Michael-Albertville High School. Set to Tchaikovsky’s iconic score, the production showcases the journey of Clara and her Nutcracker to the Land of Sweets. Celebrate the season with the community at the Albertville Lions' annual event, Christmas in the Park. This free community event includes photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, horse-drawn wagon rides, hot chocolate and cider served by the Albertville Royalty, fire and s'mores provided by the Scouts, and carols by the STMA High School Choir. The tree lighting ceremony will take place at 5pm. Please dress for the weather, as this event takes place outdoors.

STMA ECFE is hosting open play times for little ones on most Wednesday and Friday mornings from December 8 through March. Dome Days give your active kids an hour to run, jump, and play! Enjoy age-appropriate game equipment such as balls, parachutes, and more for kids 0–6. ECFE staff will be on hand to join in the fun. The North Pole is coming to Otsego! The elves are busy transforming the City Shop into a winter wonderland for you and your family to walk through. The kids will get to see real live reindeer, listen to carolers, greet and take a selfie with Santa and Mrs. Claus. New this year, your child will be able to hand their Santa letters directly to him and receive a holiday treat. The elves are planning other fun surprises for your kids so register early; you won’t want to miss this magical day! The Rotary of Maple Grove will be doing its annual tree lighting ceremony. This event is free, and skate rentals are available for $7 a pair. Don’t forget a camera for fun photos with Santa!
