Start your week out right... at the library! Share books, songs, and rhymes with your children at this storytime designed to promote school readiness in 0- to 5-year-olds. Librarians, caregivers, and children will sing, talk, read, write, and play together to build early literacy skills. Siblings are also welcome.

An introductory session for parents and children ages 2 to 5 to learn about music therapy intervention as designed by a board-certified music therapist. Session will include quick and easy songs and activities that harness the power of music to address developmental goals such as physical, social, behavioral, and cognitive skills. Kids, dress in your Halloween costumes and walk along the friendly Pumpkin Patch Trail in Prairie Park, where there will be fun stops for trick-or-treating. At the end kids will be given a pumpkin to take home. Please bring a non-perishable food item for CAER. Registration is required to participate and guarantee a pumpkin, one pumpkin per child.
