Celebrate the Summer Reading Challenge with The Jolly Pops! Join these happy dads and their puppet friends as they sing about alligator dancing, popsicles, trains, pet dinosaurs... and everything in between! This event is for preschool and school-age kids with their families. Following the show, the St. Michael Royalty will be passing out treats and signing up kids for the Summer Reading Challenge. This program was made possible with Arts & Cultural Heritage Funds from Minnesota's Clean Water, Land, and Legacy Amendment and the St. Michael Friends of the Library
Jump start your kids’ summer reading by signing up for the Summer Reading Program at St. Michael Public Library! This year’s program (for infants through 12th grade) will run from June 9 through early August and features both fun events and the chance to win books and other great prizes.
Come hang out at the library with your friends from ECFE! A staff member from STMA's Early Childhood program will lead storytime along with crafts, games, songs. This event is intended for ages 0 to 6 along with their parent or caregiver.
Start your week out right... at the library! Share books, songs, and rhymes with your children at this storytime designed to promote school readiness in 0- to 5-year-olds. Librarians, caregivers, and children will sing, talk, read, write, and play together to build early literacy skills. Siblings are also welcome.
School-age kids are invited to show off their LEGO building skills! The library will provide the bricks, you provide the imagination. Come meet with other builders and have some fun.
