Next Thursday is the start of FYCC’s annual Power of Produce program at Albertville Farmer’s Market. Kids ages 2–17 will have the opportunity to “taste the rainbow” as they enjoy FREE fruits and veggies grown by local farmers.
Food meets FUN this summer as Alleluia Lutheran Church, STMA Schools, and Marketplace grocery store present “Breakfast at the Playground” each Wednesday morning starting June 13.
All school-aged children and adolescents in the STMA community are invited to have a free breakfast, which they can either “grab and go” or enjoy as they play on the playgrounds at St. Michael Elementary and Albertville Primary School. The goal is to encourage local youth to stay active and healthy during the summer months.
The Albertville Friendly City Days festival is here! My family loves when the carnival trucks roll into town because Friendly City Days is how we kick off summer. This year’s festival is taking place June 6–10, with five days of fun for all ages.
You can view the full event schedule here, but I’ve compiled a list below of the events that are especially suited to families with kids.
The Kids Summer Movie Series is returning to St. Michael Cinema this year, with $1 tickets for the whole family to great kids’ movies such as The Lorax, E.T., and Despicable Me.
The series runs June through August with mid-week showings for just $1 per person or $8 for the whole series. You’ll find the complete list of films and showtimes below.
