The Monticello Chamber and Monticello Community Center invite you to a Trick or Treat event in Downtown Monticello. Enjoy Trick or Treating down Walnut Street and West Broadway. Participating businesses will have an orange pumpkin displayed in their window or on their door. NEW in 2022: Due to construction on Block 52, West Bridge Park and the boardwalk under the Hwy 25 bridge will be closed to pedestrians. The Wright County Sheriff’s Department will be patrolling the area for added safety. Please respect the crossing guards when traveling around during the evening.
Take a ride on the wild side at Monticello's "Movies in the Park" event. Invite your friends to join you at Pioneer Park for a free showing of the movie Wonder Park. The movie will begin at dusk. Swing by the Liberty Bank Minnesota booth on Walnut Street near 3rd Street to grab your complimentary trick-or-treat bag. (supplies limited, so arrive early) Then, get ready to haunt Walnut and West Broadway, where participating businesses are all set to dish out the treats. Just look for the orange pumpkin in their window or on their door to know where the goodies are waiting! After you’ve collected your goodies, head over to West Bridge Park for even more fun. There will be more business booths, music, food stands, and games to keep the Halloween spirit going strong.
Join Monticello Community Center for the best pool party of the year! The Egg Dive is a fun activity for ages 6 months to 12 years. Plastic eggs are dropped in the pool, and swimmers collect the eggs and use them to "purchase" prizes. (Children 6 and younger must be accompanied by an adult within arm's reach at all times.) Cost: $10 for MCC members, $17 non-members This event takes place throughout the day and is broken up into three time slots: 9–10:30 am, 4:30–6pm, and 6:30–8pm. Monticello Riverfest is a four-day community event held July 11–13.
