Booths from local businesses and organizations will line the street to provide information, games, and giveaways. Kids can learn bike safety tips and pick up a free bike helmet, while supplies last. FYCC's free "Power of Produce" program is open to kids ages 2–17. Each week that they visit the Albertville Farmer's Market, kids will receive a free fruit or vegetable of their choice that was provided by farmers from the market. The P.O.P. program runs every Thursday, from July 6 through August 24, from 3 to 6:30 pm. Parent or guardian permission/signature required at signup.
Kids, bring your pennies to Albertville Central Park for the FYCC Penny Carnival! Local businesses and organizations will be hosting booths where kids can spend a penny to play a game and win a prize. This event is free, but box lunches are available for $7 and include a Jersey Mike's sandwich, chips, cookie, and bottled water. Register online at myfycc.com. In the case of rain, this event will be held indoors at Albertville City Hall.
FYCC and the Friends of the Library are bringing back the ever-popular "Touch a Truck" event at St. Michael Library! All ages are welcome to enjoy a truck-themed story and craft at the library from 9:30 to 10. Then, take your kids out to the parking lot from 10 to 11 to see, touch, and climb inside their favorite vehicles.

Bring your family down to Central Park in Albertville for the semi-annual FYCC Open Streets event! Open Streets is a street fair that celebrates our community while showcasing local businesses and organizations. Visitors can play games, pick up swag, enjoy some local food, enter to win prizes, and visit with business owners. (Event rescheduled to September 17) Moms, bring you sons for an afternoon of ninja fun with FYCC! Cost is $30 per mother-son pair, and additional sons are just $5.
