    Little ones birth to age 5 are invited to join Otsego Parks & Rec to jump, play, create artistic masterpieces, make friends, and have fun! Activities will include crafts, games, and stories that help with early child development.   • Otsego Pumpkin Patch

    Kids, dress in your Halloween costumes and walk along the friendly Pumpkin Patch Trail in Prairie Park, where there will be fun stops for trick-or-treating. At the end kids will be given a pumpkin to take home. Please bring a non-perishable food item for CAER. Registration is required to participate and guarantee a pumpkin, one pumpkin per child.     The North Pole is coming to Otsego! The elves are busy transforming the City Shop into a winter wonderland for you and your family to walk through. The kids will get to see live reindeer, listen to carolers, and greet Santa and Mrs. Claus! Children will be able to hand their letters directly to Santa and receive a holiday treat. After meeting Santa, you will have the opportunity to walk through the North Pole Village Shops and possibly pick out some unique holiday gifts. The elves are planning other fun surprises for your kids, so register early... you won’t want to miss this magical day! Please preregister at otsegoparksrec.com for a 1-hour time slot for your family to attend.

  • Otsego Egg Hunt

    Hop on over to Prairie Park for the City of Otsego's FREE Annual Egg Hunt Event on Saturday, March 23. Kids will be able to hop, skip, and jump along the Prairie Park Bunny Trail. Please bring your own basket or bag to collect candy, eggs, and prizes at fun Bunny Stations, after which you can greet and take a selfie with the Bunny. Pre-registration is required as space is limited: otsegoparksrec.com (Choose from either 10am or 11am admission time)

    Otsego's Touch a Truck event is a FREE family-friendly event showcasing various types of trucks and equipment. This event features trucks from different industries such as construction, emergency services, transportation (such as buses and semi-trucks), city equipment and more. Kids can climb into the driver's seat, honk the horn, and learn about each vehicle from the professionals who operate them!
