Get ready for a day of egg-citing fun! Join Otsego Parks & Rec at Prairie Park on Saturday, March 28 for its FREE Annual Egg Hunt Event! This year, they’re making the Bunny Trail experience even more magical with the new themed stations filled with candy-filled eggs and surprises. Hop, skip, and jump your way through the adventure, and don’t forget to bring a basket or bag to collect your treasures! After gathering your goodies, stop by to meet the Bunny-snap a selfie, wave hello, or just enjoy the moment for a perfect keepsake photo.But the fun doesn’t stop there! A DJ will be spinning lively tunes, keeping the energy high as kids dance and play under the Prairie Park shelter. Plus, bring your leashed furry friends along-they’ll get a special treat too! Kick off the holiday season with the Otsego Tree Lighting! Join Mayor Stockamp as she lights the tree, accompanied by the joyful sounds of holiday carols from SOAR Regional Arts. Afterward, Sprinkles the Elf will lead everyone inside Prairie Center to warm up with hot chocolate and enjoy a delightful storytime. Kids will also have the special opportunity to write and mail their letters to Santa.

Celebrate fall with a fun and festive morning at Prairie Park’s Pumpkin Patch! Children are encouraged to dress in their Halloween costumes and walk the decorated Pumpkin Patch Trail, where they’ll stop at activity stations and trick-or-treat along the way. Children who are registered in advance will be eligible to receive one pumpkin to take home, and pumpkins will be available while supplies last. All participants are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to CAER. A live DJ will keep the energy high with kid-friendly Halloween music for a themed dance party throughout the event. Families can enjoy a festive fall-themed photo area, and leashed dogs are welcome to join the fun — with special treats available just for them! No pet registration required. Otsego’s Prairie Festival is an annual community celebration featuring local exhibitors, activities and entertainment for the whole family. The festival starts at 10am and continues throughout the day, culminating with a fireworks display at dusk. Full schedule at otsegofestival.com
