Learn how to create a scene from How to Train Your Dragon in this free class provided by the Rum River Art Center! You will use oil pastel, ink, and white acrylic paint, then practice blending the oil pastel to create a moonlit glow and use textures to make the scene come alive. Do you have a stuffed animal that has been begging for a library sleepover? Now is their chance! Drop-off your stuffed animal at the library on Friday, March 6, by 3 pm. Under librarian supervision, your stuffed animal will learn all about the library, play with other stuffed animal friends, and have their very own library sleepover. Pick-up your animal the next morning at 10:30 at Sleepover Storytime. Listen to stories together and learn all about their sleepover adventures! This activity is for kids age 3 to 8.
