2023 STMA Holiday Lights Tour

Gather up the family and some hot cocoa, because it’s time for the annual community favorite, the STMA Holiday Lights Tour! Our tour includes some of the best and brightest holiday light displays in St. Michael & Albertville. Follow the path below to visit 7 different locations over the course of 1 hour.

Remember to be a good neighbor! Please stay in your vehicle and resist the urge to go walking through people’s yards. No parking in driveways, making loud noise, or honking. Please pull all the way to the right so traffic can get by, and turn off your headlights when it’s safe to do so. Turn around only in cul-de-sacs, not driveways.

Sneak Peek at the Tour Locations:

1. Lydia Circle NE, Albertville

Our tour begins at not just a house, but an entire cul-de-sac. The Lydia Circle neighbors come together each year to light their homes for the season, and I could swear that the street gets brighter every year! In addition to the giant Christmas tree at the center, be on the lookout for house #6922, which is giving away candy canes to this year’s tour visitors.

2. “Mr. Creed’s Lights” – 6813 67th Street NE, Albertville

Just across from Lydia Circle, Mr. Creed’s home has its lights choreographed to music. Tune in to 87.9 FM to hear the songs, and you can even visit mrcl.show to queue up the next tune! Find out more about this display and its history at mrcreedslights.com.

3. 5669 Large Ave NE, Albertville

My kids regularly ask when we can visit the “Singing Santa” house. The Wirtz family’s famous display features hundreds of plastic figures and thousands of lights that are programmed to dance to music—you can tune it in at 89.1 FM. Don’t forget to grab a copy of the I-Spy game from the front mailbox and see if you can spot all the unique elements in this display!

4. “Christmas on Kalenda” – 4980 Kalenda Ave, Albertville

One of our newer features this year is Christmas on Kalenda, which features over 10,000 dancing lights and a 10-foot mega tree. Tune to 88.7 FM to enjoy the show! Check out their website, ChristmasOnKalenda.com, for more information or to add a song to the playlist.

5. 11871 36th Circle NE, St. Michael
This dazzling display is my daughter’s favorite. It features fun holiday music playing outside, and a bench at the front for grabbing a quick family snapshot. Look closely, and you might spot some free candy canes this year!

6. 1982 Lambert Ave, St. Michael

Returning to the tour for 2023, the simple elegance of this display takes my breath away. If the busier displays have left you overstimulated, this one will be a sight for sore eyes.🙂 Bonus: Park in the street and walk halfway up the driveway to grab a candy cane from the twinkling star-lit area on the right!

7. “Holiday Lights on 20th Street”—11594 20th Street NE, St. Michael

This is the “grand finale” of our tour, a perennial favorite known as the Holiday Lights on 20th Street. Several of the homes on 20th get in on the action, so be sure to check out the great displays on both sides of the street. The starring attraction is house #11594, whose popular musical light display even has its own Facebook page! Tune in to 99.3 FM and enjoy the show, which runs 5:30–9:00 Sunday–Thursday and 5:30–9:30 on Friday & Saturday. Owners Bob & Brenda are collecting both food and monetary donations for the Hanover Food Shelf, so be sure to bring along something to add to the donation box on the side of the driveway or Venmo @HolidayLights20thST. (NOTE: Show may run shorter hours on Christmas Eve; be sure to check Facebook for details.)

We are excited to be part of the Light Tour.
This is Mr. Creed’s Lights 10th year of having a music synchronized light show. Last year we added 7,000 lights to the garage doors to make a 24′ wide by 8′ tall video screen. This year we’ve added props to the 2nd story including High Definition props with hundreds of lights in each that make amazing effects. We also started our FB page at https://www.facebook.com/MrCreedsLights
