Studio Tour of Rogers School of Music

It’s back-to-school time! And back to school doesn’t just mean a return to classes—it’s also a great time to jump in on activities such as sports and music lessons.

My family got to tour the newly renovated Rogers School of Music, and it is such a fun place to introduce your kids to the love of music! The whole studio celebrates the art of music making and invites each student to find his or her place in the musical world.

If you’ve been thinking of adding music lessons to your kids’ school-year schedule, be sure to check out the offer below and get FREE registration at Rogers School of Music.

We were greeted at the front door by a friendly receptionist, Jen, who showed us around the clean and classy studio and answered all of our questions. We’d barely gotten started when my daughter fixated on the wall of trophies and wristbands that students can earn as they complete each level of the Musical Ladder program.

Both kids and adults were taking lessons when we came through. I enjoyed watching as a girl of about 7 kicked her feet under the piano, having fun as she played alongside her teacher. Each lesson studio has its own flair, some celebrating instruments like guitar and piano, others paying homage to famous musicians.

I also enjoyed getting a peek into the Rock Band studio, where students ages 9 and up are invited to “rock out” in a weekly group class that is totally unique and gives them the opportunity to perform at venues such as Rockin’ Rogers Days. (How cool is that?!)

Finally, as a parent, I knew I’d be totally comfortable at Rogers School of Music. Each studio has space for a parent to sit in on their child’s lesson OR to watch from outside through the studio window. Plus, the central waiting area offers free wi-fi and enough toys to keep my toddler busy for our entire visit! 🙂

Rogers School of Music is now enrolling for Fall music lessons, so give them a call at (763) 670-8882 or stop by anytime they’re open for a tour of your own.
