Otsego's Open Playtime gives children ages 0–5 years and their caregivers a chance to play, explore, and connect with others in a fun and active environment. Kids can enjoy toys, crafts, engaging activities, and plenty of room to move, while caregivers meet other families and spend quality time together. Program staff are on hand to help facilitate activities, but caregivers are responsible for supervising their children. Cost: $3/child, cash only! This fun family storytime is aimed at welcoming new families to the library. It includes songs, rhymes and stories that celebrate reading, books and using the library as a family. For children of all ages and their families.

This monthly drop-in class offers young children and caregivers a relaxed, unstructured setting for connection and play. Enjoy hands-on exploration and discovery throughout the classroom. Encourage a love of learning as you and your child play, explore, discover, count, and create at the St. Michael Library! Stations will be set up for kids age 1–5 to come and go as time and attention span permits. No registration required, but room limits may be enforced.
