This program covers reptiles both large and small, common and rare! You'll slither around the world to meet reptiles from every continent they’re found on. Audience members will learn what a Legless Lizard is, meet a rare species of snake up close, touch a gecko, hold a large boa constrictor, watch a snake eat, and more! Time is reserved after the presentation to touch and hold the reptiles. This program will be offered twice so more families can attend! Each session is the same—choose the time that fits your schedule:First showtime: 10:30 a.m. to NoonSecond showtime: 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.
All school-aged kids and teens in the STMA community are invited to enjoy a FREE breakfast every Tuesday from 9am to 10:30! You can “grab and go” your breakfast or stay to hang out and play. This year's Breakfast at the Playground events will alternate between St. Michael's Town Center Park and Albertville's Central Park. (see schedule below) This event is sponsored by Alleluia Lutheran Church and Imagine Church, but donations are always appreciated! To donate breakfast items, check out the Amazon Wish List. Bring your family to enjoy lifeguard-supervised recreational swimming at STMA Middle School East. You can choose either to pay per visit or purchase a season pass. No registration required; pay on site at the pool. Children 7 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult in the water. FYCC’s free “Power of Produce” program is open to kids ages 2–17. Each week that they visit the Albertville Farmer’s Market between 3 and 6:30, kids will receive a free fruit or vegetable of their choice provided by farmers from the market. The P.O.P. program runs every Thursday, from July 9 through August 27. Parent or guardian permission/signature required at signup.
