Fresh Local Produce from Brown Family Farm

March is here! And the first day of March means that it’s practically spring, which means it’s practically summer—am I right?! 😉

One of my favorite things about summer in STMA is the opportunity for my family to enjoy the seasonal produce that’s being grown right here in the area. We love shopping at the farmer’s market and roadside stands, and this year will be our third summer buying produce directly from a local farm through CSA—community-supported agriculture.

Valentine’s Week Events

Valentine’s Day is here! I love this holiday because, not only do we need a bright spot here in the middle of winter, there’s such a fun energy that comes along with all the card swapping, sweet treats, and pinkness. Also, my preschooler loves it, and it’s pretty hard for me not to love what she loves. 😉

Here are some activities that you and your kids can be a part of this week to celebrate:

Library Storytime: “Valentines”
Monday, February 12  Toddlers 10am / Preschool 11am | St. Michael Library
More info: griver.org/events

Make & Take Craft: Valentine’s Cards
February 12 & 13 | St. Michael Library
Kids are invited to make fun Valentine’s Day cards to take home. During open hours, while supplies last.
