Celebrate the Summer Reading Program with Magic Bob and his magic Earth Day Show. For kids all ages, geared towards children ages 3-12. Following the show the St. Michael Royalty will be passing out treats and signing kids up for the Summer Reading Program.
Jump start your kids' summer reading by signing up for the Summer Reading Program at St. Michael Public Library! This year's program (for infants through 12th grade) will run from June 3 through August 3 and features both fun events and the chance to win books and other great prizes.
Children ages Kindergarten–3rd grade are invited to show off their LEGO building skills! The Library staff will provide the bricks and books, you provide the imagination. Come meet with other builders and have some fun. Creations will be displayed in the library for one week.
An introductory session for parents and children age 2 to 5 to learn about music therapy intervention as designed by a board-certified music therapist. Session will include quick and easy songs and activities that harness the power of music to address developmental goals such as physical, social, behavioral, and cognitive skills. Join representatives from the Great River Children's Museum at the St. Michael Library for mind-blowing science experiments. Then, take a few minutes to experiment with liquid densities and make your own Storm Sensory Bottles. This event is for children ages 3 and up and their caregivers.
Share books, songs, and rhymes with your children at this storytime designed to promote school readiness in 0- to 6-year-olds. Librarians, caregivers, and children will sing, talk, read, write, and play together to build early literacy skills. Siblings are also welcome!

Bring your favorite stuffed animal to the library for a storytime sleepover! Listen to stories, sing songs, and show-and-tell your stuffed animal. Then kiss your stuffed animal goodnight and leave them at the library for a sleepover! The next morning, pick up your stuffed friend, enjoy a breakfast treat, and hear about their adventures at the library.
