2025 STMA Holiday Lights Tour

Gather up the family and some mugs of hot cocoa, because it’s time for the annual community favorite, the STMA Holiday Lights Tour! This year’s tour includes some of the best and brightest holiday light displays in our community. Follow the path below to visit 8 different locations over the course of 1 hour.

Click to access the Google map!

Remember to be a good neighbor! Please stay in your vehicle and resist the urge to go walking through people’s yards. No parking in driveways, making loud noise, or honking. Please pull all the way to the right so traffic can get by, and turn off your headlights once it’s safe to do so. Turn around ONLY in cul-de-sacs, not driveways. Finally, if you just can’t get enough of local light displays, be sure to check out our honorable mentions list at the bottom of this page!

Tour Locations:

1. Lydia Circle NE, Albertville
Our tour begins at not just a house, but an entire cul-de-sac. The Lydia Circle neighbors come together each year to light their homes for the season, and I could swear that the street gets brighter every year! In addition to the giant Christmas tree at the center, be sure to watch for Santa Claus himself.

2. 6813 67th Street NE, Albertville
Just across from Lydia Circle, Mr. Creed’s home has lights choreographed to music and this year features a NEW 23-foot lighted mega tree! Tune in to 87.9 to hear the songs, and you can even visit mrcl.show to queue up the next tune! Find out more about this display and its history at mrcreedslights.com

3. 5669 Large Ave NE, Albertville
My ask to visit the “Singing Santa” house as often as possible! The Wirtz family’s famous display features hundreds of plastic figures and thousands of lights that are programmed to dance to music—you can tune it in at 89.1 FM. Bonus: Grab a copy of the I-Spy game from the front mailbox and see if you can spot all the unique elements in this display!

4. 11871 36th Circle NE, St. Michael This dazzling display is my daughter’s favorite! It features a bench at the front for a quick family snapshot and fun holiday music playing outside. Bonus: Bring your letters to Santa and drop them in the mailbox to have them sent directly to the North Pole!

5. 100 1st Street SE, St. Michael

Returning to the tour this year is a downtown St. Michael classic. This popular display just off of 241 near Walgreens & Dunn Brothers lights up the neighborhood—you won’t need my map to find it! On less-busy nights, we suggest taking the time to drive around this house to see both sides of the display.

6. 3310 Lachman Court NE, St. Michael

We’re excited to feature this new tour stop in 2025, one that made me say “Oh wow!” when I turned the corner! We love the mix of modern permanent lighting with a wide spread of lawn decorations, and I hope that you will, too.

7. 1982 Lambert Ave, St. Michael

If the busier displays have left you overstimulated, this sprawling classic by the Sarkinen family will be a sight for sore eyes.🙂 Bonus: Take home a candy cane! Park in the street, then walk halfway up the driveway to find the red glowing candy canes and a container of treats for the road.

8. “Holiday Lights on 20th Street”—11594 20th Street NE, St. Michael This is the “grand finale” of our tour, known as the “Holiday Lights on 20th Street.” Several of the homes on 20th get in on the action, so be sure to check out the great displays on both sides of the street. The starring attraction is house number 11594, whose popular musical light display even has its own Facebook page! Tune in to 99.3 FM and enjoy the show, which runs 5:30–9:00 Sunday–Thursday and 5:30–10:00 on Friday & Saturday. Owners Bob & Brenda are collecting both food and monetary donations for the Hanover Food Shelf, so be sure to bring along something to add to the donation box on the side of the driveway or Venmo @HolidayLights20thST. (NOTE: Show may run shorter hours on Christmas Eve; be sure to check Facebook for details.)
