STMA-Area Preschools

Believe it or not, preschool registration season is here! There are LOTS of local preschool options, so for your reference, I’ve put together a list of schools and programs in St. Michael-Albertville and the surrounding area. Most schools begin enrollment in January for the following fall. Check with any schools you’re interested in to find out when they open, as some of the more popular programs fill up quickly!

Our list is broken down into two basic categories—preschools that meet in/are associated with churches, and those that are not. If you are specifically looking for one or the other, you may use these links to jump to that part of the list:  Traditional Preschools  Church Preschools  (schools are sorted alphabetically)

STMA-area Private & Charter Schools

As any parent knows, there’s no “one size fits all” when it comes to how we raise our kids. The same is true with their schooling—not every school will meet every child’s needs! That’s why we are blessed to have so many great options for schooling here in the STMA area, from top-notch public schools to faith-based private schools to tuition-free charter schools.

In celebration of National School Choice Week, we’re sharing a list of alternatives to traditional public schools that are within 15 minutes of STMA.

2020 Spring Break Schedule

As an at-home mom to littles, nothing used to frustrate me more in the springtime than showing up to an indoor play area with a toddler expecting a peaceful playtime and unexpectedly finding it overrun with “big kids.” 😬

Whether you’re in that same boat, or you’re simply planning activities for your school-aged kids, this schedule of local schools’ spring breaks should come in handy.

Ice Skating Lessons

It’s ice skating season! And whether your kids plan to spend time at the rink or on the pond, you want to make sure they know how to skate well in order to stay safe and have fun!
