My husband and I sometimes commiserate while at a playground or somewhere else with our kids, that there aren’t nearly enough places for grown ups to enjoy being playful. I mean, when was the last time you felt like you could really just “let loose” and PLAY at an area intended for kids without feeling like a weirdo?
If you’ve been longing to release your inner child, the Minnesota Children’s Museum is inviting you to a special 21+ adults-only takeover event called Adults@Play on Thursday, September 28.
You and a friend can enjoy the venue without kids from 6 to 10 p.m., playing on The Scramble, having some fun in Forces at Play, trying out the Laser Maze, and more! And while simply playing in the museum is sure to get your creative juices flowing, the museum team is upping their game that night with bonus activities such as an interactive improv show and make-and-take art projects with Can Can Wonderland. The museum will have a cash bar as well as food available for purchase.
Pre-sale tickets are $10 for museum members and $15 for non-members. After Sept. 21, tickets will be $12 for members and $17 for non-members. (Must be 21 or older to attend.)
