Fall is here, and that means it’s time to nominate YOUR favorite local businesses and organizations in the 8th Annual STMA Mom “Mom’s Choice Awards.“

All moms who are a part of the St. Michael-Albertville community are invited to vote for the BEST businesses and programs located in and around STMA. Nominations are open now through Friday, October 9.

We’ve streamlined the voting process, making it quicker and easier for you to help choose the winners! All 2026 nominees were selected from past nominations, with special emphasis given to those located within St. Michael-Albertville. Don’t worry, you can still write-in your favorite business or organization as well!

And be sure to nominate your FAVORITE business for the “Award of Excellence: Best Family-Friendly Business” at the end of the nomination form. We can’t wait to see who takes home this year’s title!

OFFICIAL RULES:

1. Only moms who reside within the cities of St. Michael or Albertville or who have children attending school in either St. Michael or Albertville are eligible to vote in the STMA Mom “Mom’s Choice” Awards. One entry allowed per person; name and a valid e-mail address must be provided for verification. In order to prevent ballot stuffing, voters must vote in at least 3 categories for their ballot to be counted.

2. Nominees have been selected based on performance in previous years’ contests and community recognition. A write-in option is available in every category to ensure new or emerging businesses can be considered. Unless otherwise noted in the category description, nominees MUST be located in St. Michael-Albertville or its adjacent suburbs.

3. Voting will remain open through 11:59pm on Friday, October 9, 2026.

4. Awards will be given to nominees with the most votes in a given category, provided they meet the eligibility requirements. Write-in nominations will be considered if no eligible nominee in that category can be determined. In such cases, the write-in nominee with the most votes will be reviewed for eligibility.

5. Winners will be notified by e-mail or Facebook. If a winner declines the award, an alternate winner will be selected from the next-highest number of eligible votes. If an eligible winner cannot be found, the title will not be awarded. By accepting the award, a business grants STMAMom.com the right to use and publish its name online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the contest.

6. Winners in the “Award of Excellence” category will be selected from the nominations by a panel of judges. Consideration will be given to the number of nominations a business receives as well as comments made regarding the business’s value to STMA families

7. STMAmom.com reserves the right to make final determinations regarding nominee and voter eligibility, category placement, and contest results in the event of disputes, irregularities, or suspected misconduct.
