This weekend my daughter and I got to grab a sneak peek at the brand new Fresh Acres Corn Maze and all the other fun fall activities they’re preparing for their grand opening on Saturday, September 22.
Zeke Berg and his hard-working kids gave us a tour of their property that features a 5-acre corn maze, corn pit, hay bale maze, petting zoo, lawn games, and more. Plus, every weekend from now through October they’ll also be bringing in food vendors and inflatables to help make your visit to Fresh Acres something the whole family will enjoy!

STMA ECFE Open House
Friday, September 7 9–11am | Community Education Center
Explore the new early childhood spaces and meet the staff! Kids can play, create, and meet friends as they kick off another year of ECFE fun.

Registration for the fall and winter sessions of ECFE* opens at 12am on Thursday, August 23—but for all you die-hards out there, you know that really means staying up TONIGHT until midnight. 😉
I noticed so many new things in the Community Ed Brochure this year that I made sure to catch some time with Super-Jane (a.k.a. Coordinator for ECFE and Bright Beginnings Preschool) just to talk about what all was new and different.

It’s back-to-school time! And back to school doesn’t just mean a return to classes—it’s also a great time to jump in on activities such as sports and music lessons.
My family got to tour the newly renovated Rogers School of Music, and it is such a fun place to introduce your kids to the love of music! The whole studio celebrates the art of music making and invites each student to find his or her place in the musical world.
