How does your family like to celebrate the 4th of July? If parades or fireworks are on your Independence Day wish list, here are some local spots to consider for your family’s holiday.
As with any community celebration, these events are very popular, so we suggest arriving early to get a good seat for parades and fireworks, and taking care to drive your family home safely afterward!
The Albertville Friendly City Days festival is here! My family loves when the carnival trucks roll into town because Friendly City Days is a big part of how we kick off summer. This year’s festival is taking place June 11–15, with five days of fun for all ages.
You can view the full event schedule here, but I’ve compiled a list below of the events that are especially suited to families with kids.
One of my kids’ and my favorite summer traditions is spending afternoons at St. Michael Cinema. Not only is it a great way to beat the heat, but we love catching up on fun, kids-friendly movies at a fraction of the usual price!
St. Michael Cinema recently released its $1 movie schedule for this summer (below), and I’ve already got a few penciled in on our calendar! For complete showtimes, visit stmichaelcinema.com.
The weather is heating up, which means splash pad season is just around the corner! Here’s a list of the STMA area’s splash pads and when you can expect them to open this year.
