Not every day of summer is going to be sunny… and some days might even be TOO hot to spend outside! That’s what I love about the Kids Bowl Free program offered at several local bowling alleys—by signing up in advance, you’ll have a ready-made indoor backup plan that won’t break the bank.
Through Kids Bowl Free, kids ages 2–18 can enjoy 2 FREE games of bowling per day, all summer long! (shoe rental additional) Parents who want to bowl can pay per game or purchase a Family Pass to use throughout the summer. When you register, you’ll need to select a location.
The Albertville Friendly City Days festival is almost here! My family loves when the carnival trucks roll into town because Friendly City Days is a big part of how we kick off summer. This year’s festival is taking place June 8–12, with five days of fun for all ages.
You can view the full event schedule here, but I’ve compiled a list below of the events that are especially suited to families with kids.
With summer vacation coming soon, those calendars are already starting to fill up! Make sure to leave room this year for your kids to attend a Vacation Bible School or other day camp at one of our great local churches!
Here’s a list of programs happening in our area in summer 2022, sorted by date. Some of them are free, but all require pre-registration. See links for full details.
FYCC (Family Youth Community Connections) is known for hosting great, FREE summer activities for STMA kids, and this year will not disappoint! Check out the flyer below to see what FYCC has planned for summer 2022.
We will have all these activities on our Events Calendar—available at the start of each month—but you can get all the details and sign up in advance at myfycc.com.
