Easter Activities for Kids (2019)

Easter is coming!! This is one of my favorite holidays for so many reasons, but a big one is that it’s like a celebration of spring for the whole community! There are so many fun events that are popping up—or should I say, HOPPING up—right now, that I just had to share some of them with you.

Saturday, April 6

Home Depot Kids Workshop & Easter Bunny Photos
at Home Depot, Brooklyn Park

Saturday, April 6 9am–12pm
In this FREE workshop, you and your child (ages 5–12) can build a birdhouse and customize it with paint and stickers. While you’re there, make sure to grab a free photo with the Easter Bunny!

Egg Dive Pool Party (FULL)

Enjoy a breakfast (waffles, eggs, sausage, and more) with the Easter Bunny to benefit the Wright County DARE Program. Activities include crafts, tattoos, and a silent auction. Kids ages 0–10 can enjoy an egg hunt and meet the Easter Bunny. Please arrive by 10:30 to receive instructions and wristbands. The egg hunt will begin promptly at 11:00. Easter Egg Hunt

Resurrection Run and Egg Hunt

Celebrate spring at the inaugural Resurrection Run 5K. This is a family-friendly event—walkers, strollers, and dogs are welcome! A half-mile kids’ fun run and Easter egg hunt will follow the 5K race. Bring your family to one of four Easter services, where adults will enjoy a powerful service and kids can choose to take part in fun, energetic classes created just for them!
