Easter Activities for Kids (2018)

Easter is coming!! This is one of my favorite holidays for so many reasons, but a big one is that it’s like a celebration of spring for the whole community! There are so many fun events that are popping up—or should I say, HOPPING up—right now, that I just had to share some of them with you.

Sunday, March 11

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
at St. Martin’s Catholic Church

Thursday, March 22

Bunny Hop Trail
at The Legacy of St. Michael

Thursday, March 22  10–11am
Bring your basket and hop along the bunny trail, collecting candy from residents as you go! The trail ends in the community room, where guests will enjoy a cookie and hear a story.

Friday, March 23

Egg Dive Pool Party
at Monticello Community Center

Friday, March 23  5–8:30pm
Kids ages 0-12 can hop right in and hunt for eggs in the swimming pool! There will be three separate egg drops at 5:30, 6:15, and 7pm. Pre-registration required. (Cost: $5 members, $10 non-members)

Saturday, March 24

Easter Egg Bunny Trail and Free Screening of “Charlotte’s Web”
at St. Michael Cinema

Saturday, March 24  9–10am
Grab your baskets and join the Easter Bunny at the St Michael Cinema! Hop down the Bunny Trail, collecting eggs and goodies along the way, then enjoy a free screening of the original animated version of Charlotte’s Web in one of several auditoriums. Breakfast items will be available for $1 each at the concession stand.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
at Albertville City Hall

Saturday, March 24  10am–noon
Children ages 0-10 are invited for cinnamon rolls, fruit, and juice. Kids will receive a goodie bag while supplies last. There will be a coloring contest for a chance to win a prize. Bring your camera to capture your child with the Easter Bunny. Please bring a non-perishable food item for the Hanover Food Shelf.  Sponsored by Albertville Lions and Financial Security Bank

Easter Egg Hunt
at St. Michael City Hall

Saturday, March 24  11am–12:30pm
Join the St. Michael Royalty for some Easter fun! Queen Analise and Princesses Emily and Brianna will escort all of the kids around city hall to help them locate all the hidden Easter eggs. Every egg has a prize, including awesome prizes courtesy of The Crayola Experience, Build-a-Bear Workshop, and St. Michael Cinema. (Cost: $5/child; proceeds benefit the royalty program)

Kids are invited to hunt for hidden Easter eggs and visit with the Easter Bunny. A bike giveaway, face painting, stickers, and tattoos are also planned.
