Otsego’s Prairie Festival is an annual community celebration featuring local exhibitors, activities and entertainment for the whole family. The festival starts at 10am and continues throughout the day, culminating with a fireworks display at dusk. Full schedule at otsegofestival.com

This fun family storytime is aimed at welcoming new families to the library. It includes songs, rhymes and stories that celebrate reading, books and using the library as a family. For children of all ages and their families.
Kids ages 8 & under are invited to join STMA ECFE for a fun-filled Tiny Knights Tailgate — a special homecoming week celebration designed just for STMA's littlest fans and their families! This festive event will feature child friendly games, music, and delicious eats. Come dressed in your Knight spirit gear and enjoy an afternoon of playful activities, community connection, and school pride. Bring your picnic blankets, your tiny tailgaters, and your Knight pride — it's time to celebrate Homecoming in true family style! Join your friends from ECFE for a special storytime at the library. This event for kids 0–6 and their caregivers will include crafts, games, songs, and plenty of children’s books!
School-age kids are invited to show off their LEGO building skills! The library will provide the bricks, you provide the imagination. Come meet with other builders and have some fun.
Take to the streets for FYCC Open Streets/Chalk Fest on Saturday, September 19 from 9:30–11:30am! Explore Main Avenue, 58th Street, and Lander Avenue while enjoying activities, giveaways, and family-friendly fun. Local businesses and organizations will be joining FYCC to create a lively community event where families can have fun while discovering more about the people and organizations that make our community great. Admission is FREE!
