Get ready for another spooktacular Downtown Elk River Trick or Treat! Elk River businesses and local organizations invite kids ages 12 and under to enjoy the thrill of trick-or-treating in a safe and vibrant atmosphere. Here is what your family can enjoy this year: - Trick or treating in your Halloween costumes with local businesses and organizations- A photo opportunity with the fall decorations at Rivers Edge Commons Park- Feeding and visiting the animals at the petting zoo- Grabbing delicious mini donuts and corn dogs at the food truck- Visiting with K9 Duke and checking out fire, police, and utility trucks Downtown Trick or Treat is from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. in downtown Elk River. The streets downtown will be closed to ensure participant safety.

Stop by our local movie theatre for its FREE annual community Halloween event! Local businesses will be set up along the Halloween Trail to hand out treats, prizes, coupons, and more. FYCC is teaming up with local businesses to host a community Halloween event. Wear your costume, and dress warmly as this event takes place both indoors and outdoors. Kids ages 5 & under are invited to play and meet new friends at Otsego's Open Playtime. This drop-in program offers an open play session full of toys, crafts, active equipment, and activities. Come for the whole time or stay while you can. (Parent/guardian supervision is required.) Encourage a love of learning as you and your child play, explore, discover, count, and create. Stations are set up for participants to come and go as time and attention span permits. Activities are designed for ages 1 to 5. No registration, but room limits may be enforced.
