Rev up your summer! Otsego's annual Touch-A-Truck is your all-access pass to explore the big, bold, and fascinating world of vehicles. This interactive event invites children and families to get behind the wheel and possibly meet the everyday heroes who operate these powerful machines. Whether it's climbing aboard a fire truck, checking out the sirens in a sheriff's squad, or seeing how a dump truck works, there’s an adventure around every corner. The excitement really soars with a live helicopter landing and takeoff—a rare and unforgettable sight for all ages.
Little ones are invited to join their friends from ECFE to ride the school bus around town, making stops at local destinations. This is a terrific way for your child to experience the bus first-hand! Come hang out at the library with your friends from ECFE! A staff member from STMA's Early Childhood program will lead storytime along with crafts, games, songs. This event is intended for ages 0 to 6 along with their parent or caregiver.
Kids ages 5 & under are invited to play and meet new friends at Otsego's Open Playtime. This drop-in program offers an open play session full of toys, crafts, active equipment, and activities. Come for the whole time or stay while you can. (Parent/guardian supervision is required.) Bring your family, a blanket, and your favorite picnic foods for a fun-filled day of games, laughter, and connection. Each family will receive a summer fun packet to take home. Hosted by Albertville Parks Committee members, this annual event is an opportunity for residents to reconnect with their neighbors and the city's parks. This year's event will be held at Four Seasons Park, Hunters Park, and Westwind Park. Residents are invited to visit their local park to enjoy a hot dog, balloon artists, visits from Albertville Royalty and the Wright County Sheriff K-9 unit, and more.
