Kids, bring your pennies to Albertville Central Park for the FYCC Penny Carnival! Local businesses and organizations will be hosting booths where kids can spend a penny to play a game and win a prize. This event is free, but box lunches are available for $7 and include a Jersey Mike's sandwich, chips, cookie, and bottled water. Register online at myfycc.com. FYCC and the Friends of the Library are bringing back the ever-popular "Touch a Truck" event at St. Michael Library! All ages are welcome to enjoy a truck-themed story and craft at the library from 9:30 to 10. Then, take your kids out to the parking lot from 10 to 11 to see, touch, and climb inside their favorite vehicles.
Enjoy free family entertainment at Prairie Park each week at Otsego's Splash & Play Tuesdays. This week's featured entertainer is Mixed Nuts Magic & Comedy Show. Entertainment will take place in the park shelter, or inside the Prairie Center if there is inclement weather.
The Wright County Fair in Howard Lake has been providing entertainment, education and competition since 1870. Come for the fair food, stay for the rides, the demolition derby, or the live entertainment. Support the youth of Wright County by visiting the junior livestock show or experience the hard work of local 4-H kids. Admission is just $5 for adults and free for kids 17 & under. Join the Hanover Historical Society for its 5th Annual Ice Cream Social & Open House. There will be free activities for kids including a bounce house and balloon artist. Sloppy Joes, hot dogs, and dessert provided as well as, of course, ice cream!
