  • Prince/Princess for a Day

    Calling all princes and princesses in the kingdom! Join the St. Michael Royalty at St. Michael Cinema for a fun filled day of all things royal. Decorate your own crown or tiara, visit with some of your favorite princesses, and enjoy a showing of a surprise princess movie. Prince/Princess attire is highly encouraged! Each royal guest will receive a snack tray for the movie that includes popcorn and a soda. Enter the drawing for a chance to become King or Queen for a Day. The King or Queen will receive their own custom crown and sash, ride on a float in the Albertville Friendly City Days Parade, and receive the opportunity to ride rides and play games with the St. Michael Royal court at the festival. This FREE family event will feature Koo Koo Kanga Roo, local resource booths, make and take wellbeing stations, food trucks, concessions, and more! The event will be held at the Monticello High School's Memorial Stadium. The Bounce Back Project offers programs, tools and exercises to help people increase their happiness.

    Bring your bikes, trikes, scooters, or walking shoes to the street in front of St. Michael City Hall. Booths from local businesses and organizations will line the street to provide information, games, and giveaways. Kids can learn bike safety tips and pick up a free bike helmet, while supplies last.     Explore your local Albertville park and enjoy free hot dogs and family entertainment. This event will take place at Westwind Park, Linwood Park, and Four Seasons Park, with different community groups represented at each. Public works vehicles will be on display at each location, and parks will also be visited by Albertville Royalty, the Wright County Sherriff K-9 unit, and a balloon artist.

    Touch-a-Truck provides children the opportunity to explore vehicles of all types, including public service, emergency, utility, construction, landscaping, transportation, delivery, and just plain cool — all in one place! Children are allowed to get behind the wheel of their favorite vehicles and meet the people who help build, protect, and serve our community. Painting a plow truck and food trucks are also part of the evening.
