Touch-a-Truck provides children the opportunity to explore vehicles of all types, including public service, emergency, utility, construction, landscaping, transportation, delivery, and just plain cool — all in one place! Children are allowed to get behind the wheel of their favorite vehicles and meet the people who help build, protect, and serve our community. Painting a plow truck and food trucks are also part of the evening.

Great River Regional Library's annual Summer Reading Program will kick off on Monday, June 5, and continue through Saturday, August 5. The program is open to all kids ages 0 to 18 and divided by age: pre-readers (ages 0 to 3), kids (ages 3 to 12), and teens. Visit your local GRRL library during open hours to sign up. Kids and teens can track their reading in the Beanstack app or using a paper slip, which they return to their library to be eligible for prize drawings at the end of the program. This year's Summer Reading Program theme is "Find Your Voice." What better way to find your voice this summer than with a ventriloquist! Ventriloquist James Wedgewood will be at the library to entertain you and make you laugh. While you are there, sign up for summer reading program and meet the St. Michael Royalty.
