Kick off this magical season with some holiday cheer at Otsego's annual tree lighting event. The mayor will light the tree at 6:00, and carolers from SOAR Regional Arts will set the mood for a wonderful evening. Warm up with hot chocolate and treats, and meet some of your favorite winter characters for a cute selfie. Don't miss the fun! Kids ages 5 & under are invited to play and meet new friends at Otsego's Open Playtime. This drop-in program offers an open play session full of toys, crafts, active equipment, and activities. Come for the whole time or stay while you can. (Parent/guardian supervision is required.) Start your week out right... at the library! Share books, songs, and rhymes with your children at this storytime designed to promote school readiness in 0- to 5-year-olds. Librarians, caregivers, and children will sing, talk, read, write, and play together to build early literacy skills. Siblings are also welcome.
Kids ages 6 and under are invited to run and play with friends at the STMA Dome from December 5 through March 28 on alternating Thursdays & Friday mornings. The cost is just $2 per child (max $5 per family), payable by cash at the door. No registration required.
Come hang out at the library with your friends from ECFE! A staff member from STMA's Early Childhood program will lead storytime along with crafts, games, songs. This event is intended for ages 0 to 6 along with their parent or caregiver.
