Join staff from STMA's Early Childhood Family Education program for stories, crafts, games, songs! This event is for ages 0-6 with a parent/caregiver.
Little ones birth to age 5 are invited to join Otsego Parks & Rec to jump, play, create artistic masterpieces, make friends, and have fun! Activities will include crafts, games, and stories that help with early child development. Families with kids ages 12 & under are invited to wear their costumes and join the Hanover Park Board to decorate pumpkins in Settlers Park. The Hanover Royalty will be judging the pumpkins and costumes, with prizes in three age categories: 0–5, 6–9, and 10–12. Winners will be presented with trophies.
Kids, dress in your Halloween costumes and walk along the friendly Pumpkin Patch Trail in Prairie Park, where there will be fun stops for trick-or-treating. At the end kids will be given a pumpkin to take home. Please bring a non-perishable food item for CAER. Registration is required to participate and guarantee a pumpkin, one pumpkin per child. Use the library's supply of LEGO bricks to design, configure, and build! Try out one of their master LEGO challenges or build your own creation. Finished creations will be put on display in the library. For ages 5 and up, no registration required.
St. Michael Cinema invites all kids to visit the theatre for a fun, FREE event! Local businesses will be passing out treats, candy, coupons, & more to the first 500 kids that attend. This event will also include free admission to the movie Hotel Transyvania!
