Join STMA ECFE staff for storytime at the library, complete with crafts, games, and songs! For ages 0-6 with a parent/caregiver. No registration required.
A free, fall-themed “take and make” project will be available for pick up in the library during open hours, while supplies last. Sponsored by the St. Michael Friends of the Library
Explore early literacy through play with your preschooler. Mixing story time with physical play to promote literature skills. Explore books using art, creative movement, and song while building vocabulary and pre-writing skills. Physical activity in the gym and SMART room, Literacy-rich play ideas including puppets and costumes. Incorporating arts and crafts to expand learning in hands-on activities. Each child will take home a book along with ideas to continue the love of reading at home. This 30-minute storytime is aimed at welcoming new and busy families to the library. It includes songs, rhymes and stories that celebrate reading. For children of all ages and their families

Join the Hanover Historical Society at the historic pedestrian bridge in downtown Hanover as they revive a Victorian community Christmas past. Area church and school choirs/groups will lift us into a festive spirit with their lively renditions of familiar songs and carols, interacting with audience sing-a-longs. Everyone enjoys hot cider and cookies around crackling bonfires. Bring your cameras for instant memories of your child bundled up in an authentic one-horse open sleigh and meet one-on-one with Old St. Nick. This family-friendly event is free – HHS's gift to the community.
