Bring your family down to Central Park in Albertville for the semi-annual FYCC Open Streets event! Open Streets is a street fair that celebrates our community while showcasing local businesses and organizations. Visitors can play games, pick up swag, enjoy some local food, enter to win prizes, and visit with business owners. Kids ages 0–6 are invited to drop into ECFE anytime on Mondays and Thursdays between 8:15 and 9:45 for an unstructured playtime with ECFE friends and teachers. There will be toys for all ages as well as a story and circle time. Parents and kids can make social connections in a fun, casual setting. Cost is $2/child or $5 max/family. Join Financial Security Bank for its FREE, annual Community Appreciation Dinner in the parking lot. The bank will be providing a complimentary meal featuring Dehmer's Meats and served with help from the Albertville Lions Club. This event for the whole family includes activities by Joah's Ark Petting Zoo, The Selfie Co., HealthSource Chiropractic, National Karate and others, as well as a giveaway for a Stampede Traxxas remote controlled hobby truck.

Otsego's Prairie Festival is an annual community celebration featuring local exhibitors, activities and entertainment for the whole family. The festival starts at 10am and continues throughout the day, culminating with a fireworks display at dusk. Full schedule at otsegofestival.com
Inspired by the book The Dot by Peter Reynolds, preschoolers in this class will have fun creating crafts using a variety of items to make dots! We will also be reading the book The Dot. (science, technology, engineering and math) Visit the library and try out one of their new STEM challenge kits purchased with funds from the Locally Growin' campaign. Use the library's supply of LEGO bricks to design, configure, and build! Try out one of their master LEGO challenges or build your own creation. Finished creations will be put on display in the library. For ages 5 and up, no registration required.
