Wright County Fair
The Wright County Fair in Howard Lake, Minnesota provides entertainment, education and competition for all, annually since 1870. Come for the undeniably delicious fair food, stay for the rides, the demolition derby or live entertainment. Support the youth of Wright County by visiting the junior livestock show or experience the hard work of local 4-H kids. Breakfast at the Playground
All school-aged kids and teens in the STMA community are invited to enjoy a FREE breakfast every Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:30am at rotating school playground locations! You can “grab and go” your breakfast or stay to hang out and play. This event is sponsored by Alleluia Lutheran Church and Imagine Church, but donations are always appreciated! Reading in the Park (Hanover)
Join FYCC every Thursday at Settler’s Park in Hanover to hear some great stories read by local community leaders. After storytime, each child will get to take home a free book! This event is for infants through 8th grade. Please register at myfycc.com
Open Swim
Bring your family to enjoy lifeguard-supervised recreational swimming at STMA Middle School East. You can choose either to pay per visit or purchase a season pass. No registration required; pay on site at the pool. Children 7 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult in the water. Daily Admission: Children 4 and under – Free Students and Adults – $3 Family (immediate family only) – $6 Activity Center members – Free Summer Pool Pass: Individual Pass – $50 Family Pass – $75
Power of Produce
FYCC’s free “Power of Produce” program is open to kids ages 2–17. Each week that they visit the Albertville Farmer’s Market, kids will receive a free fruit or vegetable of their choice that was provided by farmers from the market. The P.O.P. program runs every Thursday, from July 3 through August 28. Parent or guardian permission/signature required at signup.
