Breakfast at the Playground
All school-aged kids and teens in the STMA community are invited to enjoy a FREE breakfast every Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:30am at rotating school playground locations! You can “grab and go” your breakfast or stay to hang out and play. This event is sponsored by Alleluia Lutheran Church and Imagine Church, but donations are always appreciated! To donate breakfast items, check out the Amazon Wish List. Schedule & Locations:
Reading in the Park (St. Michael)
Join FYCC at St. Michael’s Town Center Park to hear some great stories read by local community leaders. After storytime, each child will get to take home a free book! This event is for infants through 8th grade. Please register at myfycc.com
Touch a Truck
FYCC and the Friends of the Library are bringing back the ever-popular "Touch a Truck" event at St. Michael Library! All ages are welcome to enjoy a truck-themed story and craft at the library from 9:30 to 10. Then, take your kids out to the parking lot from 10 to 11 to see, touch, and climb inside their favorite vehicles.
Teen Book Bedazzling & Bracelet Making
Drop into the library anytime between 2 and 6 for an afternoon of creativity, snacks, and chill vibes! Bring your favorite book(s) and try out the latest BookTok trend—book bedazzling. The library will provide everything you need to turn your book cover into something brilliant—just bring the book you want to decorate! Then, try your hand at a second craft: clay bead bracelets—perfect for summer style or gifting. This is an open house–style event, so come whenever you can and stay as long as you’d like. All materials (except the book) and snacks will be provided.
