Library Make & Take Craft
Get creative at the library with this week's free "Plant a Seed, Read" make-and-take craft! Kids will enjoy a fun, hands-on project inspired by this year’s summer reading theme. Drop in anytime during open hours to create, explore, and take your craft home to keep the creativity growing. This event is for ages 5 to 11 and offered while supplies last.
Library Storytime at Town Center Park
Make Summer Storytime the highlight of your week! Join librarians from the St. Michael Library for joyful mornings of stories, songs, movement, and hands-on fun—all under the open sky! Each week features a new “Plant a Seed, READ!” theme with engaging books, playful activities, and time to grow friendships. Storytime is intended for ages 0 to 6 with their caregiver. In the case of inclement weather, storytime will be held indoors at the library

All school-aged kids and teens in the STMA community are invited to enjoy a FREE breakfast every Tuesday from 9am to 10:30! You can “grab and go” your breakfast or stay to hang out and play. This year's Breakfast at the Playground events will alternate between St. Michael's Town Center Park and Albertville's Central Park. (see schedule below) This event is sponsored by Alleluia Lutheran Church and Imagine Church, but donations are always appreciated! To donate breakfast items, check out the Amazon Wish List. Join FYCC every Thursday at Settler’s Park in Hanover to hear some great stories read by local community leaders. After storytime, each child will get to take home a free book! This event is for infants through 8th grade. Please register at myfycc.com
Open Swim at MSE
Bring your family to enjoy lifeguard-supervised recreational swimming at STMA Middle School East. You can choose either to pay per visit or purchase a season pass. No registration required; pay on site at the pool. Children 7 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult in the water. Daily Admission: Children 4 and under – Free Students and Adults – $3 Family (immediate family only) – $6 Activity Center members – Free Summer Pool Pass: Individual Pass – $50 Family Pass – $75
Power of Produce
FYCC’s free “Power of Produce” program is open to kids ages 2–17. Each week that they visit the Albertville Farmer’s Market between 3 and 6:30, kids will receive a free fruit or vegetable of their choice provided by farmers from the market. The P.O.P. program runs every Thursday, from July 9 through August 27. Parent or guardian permission/signature required at signup.
