Beebe Lake Park & Beach (St. Michael)

For us, summers in STMA aren’t complete without at least one visit to Beebe Lake Park & Beach.

Tucked away in southwest St. Michael, this gem of a park—which is actually a regional park operated by Wright County—offers a little something for everyone. In addition to a long stretch of beach, Beebe Lake Park has a playground, fishing dock, sand volleyball courts, lots of green space with tables for picnics, a pavilion for hosting parties, and an extensive trail system.

FYCC Summer Activities 2024

FYCC (Family Youth Community Connections) is known for hosting great, FREE summer activities for STMA kids, and this year will not disappoint! Check out the flyer below to see what FYCC has planned for summer 2024.

We will have all these activities on our Events Calendar—available at the start of each month—but you can get all the details and sign up in advance at myfycc.com.

Westwind Park (Albertville)

Without a doubt, my family’s favorite park in Albertville is Westwind Park!

Located beyond Casey’s, just off Kalland Drive, Westwind Park got a massive makeover just a few years ago that included a brand new playground and the installation of a beautiful boardwalk over the wetland area. Since then, it has been our go-to spot to meet up with friends or run around after school.

Summer 2024 Activities Brochure

The Summer 2024 STMA Community Education brochure is on its way to your mailbox, and it is packed FULL of fun activities going on in the St. Michael–Albertville area this summer!

Check out the digital version of the brochure (linked below) for info on youth sports, creative classes, preschool activities, and more!

STMA-Area Preschools

Believe it or not, preschool registration season is here! There are LOTS of local preschool options, so for your reference, I’ve put together a list of schools and programs in St. Michael-Albertville and the surrounding area. Most schools begin enrollment in January for the following fall. Check with any schools you’re interested in to find out when they open, as some of the more popular programs fill up quickly!

Our list is broken down into two basic categories—traditional (non-religious) preschools and Christian preschools. If you are specifically looking for one or the other, you may use these links to jump to that part of the list:  Traditional Preschools  Christian Preschools  (schools are sorted alphabetically)
