Touch-a-Truck provides children the opportunity to explore vehicles of all types, including public service, emergency, utility, construction, landscaping, transportation, delivery, and just plain cool — all in one place! Children are allowed to get behind the wheel of their favorite vehicles and meet the people who help build, protect, and serve our community. Painting a plow truck and food trucks are also part of the evening.
Hop on over to Prairie Park for a FREE Egg Hunt provided by Otsego Parks & Recreation. Kids will be able to hop, skip, and jump along the Prairie Park bunny trail to collect candy-filled eggs at various EGG Chute Stations. Please remember to bring your own basket or bag. After you collect all your eggs and candy, you can greet, wave, and take a selfie with the Bunny. Space is limited, and pre-registration is required. Otsego Parks & Recreation invites you to a kid-friendly Pumpkin Patch Trail in Prairie Park. Dress up in Halloween costumes and walk along the trail where there will be fun stops for your kids to trick or treat at. At the end your child/children will be given a pumpkin to take home. There will be a fall-themed area to take selfies as well as treats for your 4-legged "kids" (leashed only, please). Please bring a non-perishable food item to donate to CAER. Pre-registration required to participate and guarantee a pumpkin, one pumpkin per child. Please register each child individually. Give your kids the chance to crawl inside and interact with all of those really cool trucks they see every day! Kids will get to see a K-9 by Wright County, helicopter landing and take-off, fire trucks, police cars, dump trucks, tow truck, and more.
