Every once in a while you come across someone who is totally working in her sweet spot. One such local mom, Danielle Brown, has combined her background in graphic design and her love of teaching with her outgoing personality to create Green Martini Paint Co., which provides not only for her family but also meets the need for a social and creative outlet for members of the STMA community.
The Fountains at Arbor Lakes shopping center in Maple Grove is hosting it’s second annual Harvest Festival on Sunday, September 17.

The Kids Fall Movie Series is coming to the St. Michael Cinema!
From September 30 through November 21, our favorite local theater will be featuring great family films—a new one each week—and tickets will be available for just $1. Films and showtimes are listed below.
In addition, the theater is partnering with local schools to sell series passes, which provide admission to each film in the series and return a portion of the sales back to the school of your choice! Two types of series passes are being offered this fall:
- Series Pass $5 – Provides admission to each of the 8 movies
- Series Pass Plus $12 – Provides admission to each of the 8 movies, PLUS a 12oz fountain drink each week
Series passes can be purchased at FYCC, Kremer’s Toy & Hobby, and Sadie’s Cafe. Stop by during their businesses hours to purchase your passes, and let them know which school you’d like to receive a benefit!
As a lifelong Disney fan, a girl-mom, and an proponent of strong women, I’m super excited about the “Dream Big, Princess” movie series taking place at AMC Theatres this fall!
