Everyone’s favorite local coffee shop just got a major upgrade. As of this week, Sadie’s Coffee of St. Michael is now Sadie’s Café and will be serving a full menu of breakfast items such as waffles, French toast, omelettes, and more.

Many of the more traditional menu items are named with local love—the Saint Michael, the Hwy 241, and The Colonial—while others are bound to surprise you, like the Barnyard plate that includes BBQ pulled pork, bacon, sausage, and eggs… plus hashbrowns and an English muffin. (Uffda!)

The little shop in Colonial Mall has being undergoing renovations and has a new look to go with its new name. This morning I got to chat with the the sweet owner, Kim, who says they have been working hard to get the new café ready to open this week and were overwhelmed by how many from the community have stopped by, even in just the first few days. This morning they sold ALL of their three dozen caramel rolls within the first hour!

Even as they work out the kinks with a new menu and full-service dining, the Sadie’s staff continues to offer the same level of friendliness and customer service that they’re known for. Regulars and new customers alike were being treated like family there today, and we are blessed to have such a great little shop here in STMA. Make sure to stop in soon to say “hello” and to try out the new menu!
