Start your week out right... at the library! Share books, songs, and rhymes with your children at this storytime designed to promote school readiness in 0- to 6-year-olds. Librarians, caregivers, and children will sing, talk, read, write, and play together to build early literacy skills. Siblings are also welcome.
Get up close and climb inside the amazing trucks and equipment you see around town every day—fire trucks, police cars, dump trucks, and more. Meet Chase, the Wright County Sheriff's K-9 dog, keep an eye out for a possible appearance by the North Flight Helicopter, and stop by to chat with the Wright County Sheriff. No need to rush home, just grab dinner from one of the on-site food trucks! This event is FREE; no registration required.
Kids ages 5 & under are invited to play and meet new friends at Otsego's Open Playtime. This drop-in program offers an open play session full of toys, crafts, active equipment, and activities. Come for the whole time or stay while you can. (Parent/guardian supervision is required.) Cost: $3/child at the door, or pick up a punch pass! Join the City of Albertville for the grand opening of the new Central Park playground and water feature! In addition to the 6:00 ribbon cutting, this event will feature free hot dogs and other food items, a kid-friendly DJ, face painting, balloon artists, clowns, a fire truck, Albertville Royalty, and a visit from the Wright County Sheriff's K-9 unit.
Moms, looking to spend some quality time with your son/sons? Check out FYCC's Mother Son event featuring capture the flag laser tag and RC car racing.
